Agents from federal and state police forces executed a search warrant on Wednesday, August 21, as part of the ongoing fight against drug dealing in Yucatan.
The operation was on a property on 67-A Street between 8 and 10 in the Villas de Oriente subdivision, Kanasín. There, the officers seized six large and 14 small boxes containing cannabis in bags with a total weight of approximately 65 kilograms.
In addition, a suitcase with 179 firearm cartridges of different small and medium calibers.
Agents of the Army, Navy, National Guard, State Attorney General’s Office, and Public Security Secretariat participated in the operation with personnel from the State Investigation Police and dogs.
