The Cruz Azul Cooperative, a Mexican company, officially presented the project of a new industrial unit to manufacture Cruz Azul Cement in its different presentations in Seybaplaya, southwest of the capital of Campeche.

The plant will be on previously exploited land. Because of this, the company will reduce the environmental impact. In addition, the plant will have cutting-edge technology to meet the highest global standards in terms of ecology and sustainability.

The construction of the industrial unit of the Cruz Azul Cooperative will begin this August 1. The first stage would conclude at the end of 2026. The company estimates a daily production of up to three thousand tons of cement.

The initial investment in the project exceeds 300 million dollars. They expect to generate up to two thousand temporary jobs during its construction and approximately 350 direct jobs when they complete the first stage.

Cruz Azul will stimulate the training of professionals and qualified labor and the creation of local businesses to meet the demand for products and services in sectors such as housing, education, health, hospitality, security, transportation, food, and tourism, among many others.

We will work with federal, state, and municipal authorities on the improvement and responsible development of road, energy, port, river, and telecommunications infrastructure to enhance the region’s added value. The Blue Cross has plants in Aguascalientes, Hidalgo, Puebla, Oaxaca, and Mexico City. For more than 90 years, the company has participated in the social, environmental, and economic development of the communities they settle in.
