A mega-fire, which broke out last Monday, August 12th, in the reserve in Sisal, has not been able to be controlled until Thursday, August 15th, as the winds have been increasing the extension of the fire.
State firefighters are trying to combat the fire at kilometer 17 of the Hunucmá-Sisal federal highway.
So far it is not known how many hectares of flora have been consumed and it is feared, among other things, that it has damaged the drinking water pipeline.
There is still no report of people evacuated, since the fire occurred in an area of difficult access to the swamp, about 4 km from this port community.
