The events occurred at the facilities of the Fair of this municipality, located on 27th Street between 26th and 26th, in Downtown Motul.
A man started arguing with his sentimental partner when he suddenly pulled out a firearm and began to threaten everyone who crossed his path inside the restaurant.
This event alarmed the diners who decided to leave and immediately reported the situation to the municipal police who arrived, disarmed the individual, and took him straight to the public jail.
People who were held at gunpoint said they would file a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office.
