Two sharks were seen by tourists very close to the shore.
TELCHAC PUERTO, YUCATAN.- Fear and concern for bathers were caused by the report that a pair of sharks were seen near the seashore when it is common to see them in deep waters.
Tourists said that near the sheltered port, they encountered two sharks near the seashore when they went swimming.
Sharks in Telchac Puerto
David Ferreiro, who is vacationing in Telchac Puerto, shared the following message on social media. “We went to the sea a few moments ago and were surprised to find a pair of sharks on the shore. I am near the shelter port, I know that it is their habitat and it is respected.”
“The above is to be careful when entering the sea with children and pets,” she concluded.
For her part, Rebeca Concha wrote on her social media profile: “Yesterday morning, when we were bathing, a tremendous manta ray jumped into the sea, we left and we did not return.”
