AGEPRO has already detected 6 leaders in Mahahual, Quintana Roo who are selling land that does not belong to them.

The Strategic Projects Agency, AGEPRO, has identified six leaders of the Mahahual community, who, without having possession of the land, continue to deceive families with the false promise that they can have an estate, said its head, Alberto Alonso Ovando.

The official said that unfortunately, this practice is recurrent, in which pseudo-leaders invade properties knowing that these have legitimate owners, and then begin to offer and then sell them to people who, out of desperation, do not verify that the land does not have legal problems.

Alonso Ovando indicated that what is sought is for there to be order in Mahahual and above all that the families who do need it can regularize their properties, he stressed that they have made great progress, although where it is complicated is in the private lands that have been invaded.
