Chaac, the Mayan god of water and rain will receive offerings from the people of Yucatán.
On Facebook, user Vicky Wolff created a group to bring offerings to the statue of Chaac, recently placed on the dock of Telchac Puerto.
Just as a lady did with Poseidon some time ago, now they want to repeat the same thing but with a new work of art.
She called for Saturday, August 24 at seven in the evening and the offering would be to bring coffee, bread, corn, or whatever people usually eat during the rainy season.
On her Facebook page, user Vicky Wolff said that in order not to throw trash on the beaches, the offerings will be consumed there and when people leave, the beach will be clean.
