Because he threatened to shoot at a trailer park near a gas station on the Umán-Mérida federal highway, police officers arrested a man.
The events occurred at 8:40 on Saturday, September 14, when the police command received a call to go to the trailer park at kilometer 15 of the Umán-Mérida federal highway.
The alert was due to a fight between two men, where one of them threatened to shoot.
Agents from the Municipal Police of Umán and the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) arrived and talked to A B.T., 52 years old.
The man told them that another driver had approached moments before to say to him that a shooting was going to start and that he should not be scared. Then he left the place.
Then the trailer park watchman noticed two men arguing, one of them the man who gave the shooting warning, whom he heard repeated the threat to shoot, so he decided to call 911.
The police officers inspected the pension and found a machete among the driver’s belongings, according to reports.
Police officers arrested the man, identified as D.R.A., 33 years old. The man was also accused by J. M. P., 38, of attacking him without reason.
