The Governor-elect of Yucatan stated that, on the eve of beginning his government, he felt very happy and very motivated, and reaffirmed that, in Yucatan, starting October 1, equality and social justice will be the priorities.
From the esplanade to La Bandera, in front of the Government Palace in Chetumal, Governor Mara Lezama addressed the citizens in an exercise of democracy and accountability, stating that her government has worked differently, in the territory, obtaining great achievements that mark the beginning of a “new era of Transformation.”
Accompanied by his wife, teacher Wendy Méndez Naal, Díaz Mena stated that, on the eve of beginning his government, he feels very happy and very motivated, and reaffirmed that in Yucatan, starting October 1, equality and social justice will be put first for the benefit of the Yucatecans.
Huacho congratulated Governor Mara Lezama for the results presented in her second government report.
Finally, Díaz Mena reiterated that starting October 1, “we are going to work on justice for the people; we will bring well-being with programs, services, and social support.
