On the night of September 27, it was learned that the remains that were found off the coast of Isla Arena, in the neighboring state of Campeche, would correspond to “don Popa.”

Likewise, 9 days ago it was revealed that fishermen had seen a body floating, in turn, they reported it to the maritime authorities.

However, through unofficial sources the body could not be found, further complicating the search in the following days due to the meteorological phenomenon of Helene.

Until this Friday, it began to sound on social networks and with a photo of the remains of the alleged resident of this coastal town who had been lost at sea for more than 10 days.

The relatives ask for help from the corresponding authorities so that they can recover the remains, where they would say their last goodbye to Don Popa in his native land Celestun.
