Authorities arrested an alleged murderer in Valladolid. The man killed his wife who died shortly after arriving at the hospital due to the severity of her injuries.
Agents of the State Investigation Police (PEI) of the SSP, in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), arrested Wilfrido X. C. yesterday in Valladolid, accused of femicide.
The victim is a 72-year-old woman who died due to injuries to her head caused by a hammer.
The person responsible for this crime is the one now detained, according to evidence obtained by the investigating agents and prosecutors, based on which a control judge ordered the arrest.
The woman, Lidia K. T., Wilfrido X. C.’s partner, was admitted to the General Hospital of Valladolid last Wednesday, September 11, but died hours later due to the severity of her head trauma.
On Saturday, September 14, a judge declared the subject linked to the process and imposed the precautionary measure of preventive detention.
