Residents of the city of Tzucacab are in mourning after the death of Pablo Zapata, a well-known horseman in the community.

Friends and horsemen’s associations sent their condolences to the family.

“It is an irreparable loss for the entire family, friends, and the community. But your legacy will live in our hearts and in the stories that will be told of your exploits in the ring.” Says the publication

“Rest in peace, cowboy. May your soul be received with open arms in heaven, where the bulls are tame and the ring is eternal. Your memory will be remembered with pride and respect. Farewell, cousin Pablo!” added the group.

Pablo Zapata fell off a horse and that caused serious injuries that resulted in his death time later.

A relative of the horseman said that the last thing they heard about him was that he was hospitalized with brain death. “He is being treated, the doctors said there is nothing they can do,” he said.
