Three new public transport “Va y Ven” routes start operating in Merida

On Friday, September 6, three new routes will be added to the “Va y Ven” Public Transportation System: Centro-Temozón-Chablekal; Centro-Calle 60-Xcumpich-Dzityá and Centro-Chuburná 21-Facultad de Ingeniería, thus continuing to improve this service, announced the Yucatán Transportation Agency (ATY).

The new routes will have a schedule from Monday to Sunday from 05:00 to 23:00 hours and the service will be free during its first week of operation, from September 6 to 13 later, payment will be made electronically, with which users will be able to enjoy discounts on transfers.

ROUTE TO CHABLEKAL
The Centro-Temozón-Chablekal route will have 10 Mercedes Benz units, passing through points such as the Instituto Comercial Bancarios, Paseo 60, Centro Internacional de Congresos, Estadio General Salvador Alvarado, Instituto Tecnológico de Mérida, CBTis No. 120, SAT offices, Gran Plaza, Gran Mundo Maya Museum, Plaza Galerías, The Harbor, Dr. Roberto Solís Quiroga Multiple Care Center, Temozón Norte Park and Chablekal Park.

ROUTE TO DZITYÁ

For the operation of the Centro-Calle 60-Xcumpich-Dzityá route, 6 Mercedes Benz units will be put into operation, which will travel through the city to points of interest such as the Instituto Comercial Bancarios, Paseo 60, International Congress Center, General Salvador Alvarado Stadium, Mérida Institute of Technology, CBTis No. 120, SAT offices, Montejo University Center, EBC Campus Mérida, CICY, Carlos Castillo Peraza State Preparatory School No. 8, Los Paseos Fco. de Montejo Linear Park, Tec Milenio University and Dzityá Main Park.

FACULTAD DE INGENIERIA ROUTE
While for route 82 Chuburná 21-Engineering Faculty, there will be a total of 8 Mercedes Benz units with which users will be able to reach points such as Plaza Grande, Instituto Comercial Bancario, Paseo 60, International Congress Center, General Salvador Alvarado Stadium, Technological Institute of Merida, Chuburná de Hidalgo Park, Los Paseos Francisco de Montejo Linear Park, UADY Engineering Faculty, CRIT Yucatán, CEDART Emilio Abreu Gómez, Technological Institute of Merida Campus Poniente and Walmart Periférico Mérida.
