A young man tragically lost his life on the afternoon of September 4 while spending a day of recreation at sea aboard a jet ski.
The young man was driving a jet ski with a woman as a companion.
But at one point, while they were near Pig Beach, the young man lost control of the vehicle, causing them both to fall into the sea.
Tragedy occurred when the driver of the vehicle could not resist the tide and unfortunately drowned, while the woman managed to survive.
The young man’s body was rescued by naval authorities, who transferred it to the sheltered port area of Yucalpetén, where the arrival of the Forensic Medical Service was expected to carry out the removal of the body and the necessary procedures.
