The minor reported missing, Lionel “N”, 12 years old, was found safe and sound this morning in the Mérida rural community of Susulá.

After an intense search operation carried out by elements of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) and specialized search groups, the minor was found in the mountains near the Mérida-Tetiz highway.

Lionel was last seen last Saturday, October 26 in Ciudad Caucel, when he left home in an unknown direction, so relatives went to the authorities and an Amber Alert was issued.

During these last few days, a strong operation was carried out with dozens of elements of the SSP, supported by canine teams and drones.

Today, Tuesday, after an intense search, he was finally found safe and sound.

On social networks, testimonies circulated that he had been seen in an Oxxo and in several supermarkets. He was also captured on the surveillance camera of a property in Ciudad Caucel when he was walking with his tennis shoes in his hand.
