Yucatán would receive delegations of American businessmen interested in investing in the state, said Ermilo Barrera Novelo, state secretary of Economic Development and Labor.
The official said that work will be done in special regions of the State that have a vocation for the aerospace industry, where it is believed that they can create productive links with other regions of the country and also internationally.
He anticipated that starting on Sunday, October 20, when Claudia Sheinbaum’s first official visit as president is expected, they will make more announcements.
Interviewed within the framework of the Expo Trade Fair, the secretary recalled that during a recent visit to Mexico City with Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena, they met with Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón, Secretary of Economy of the federal government, with whom they found total willingness to support the Mayan Renaissance project.
