The Mayor indicated that on Tuesday, at 5:30 a.m., the Street by Street operation was implemented, for which 700 municipal workers were available, in addition to the participation of several brigades from the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and they received more than 610 citizen reports were received at a Command Center.
Among what citizens reported the most, according to Patrón Laviada, were fallen trees and branches, with 280 reports; poles and cables affected, with 85 reports, cases that were attended to by CFE brigades, in addition to 222 flooded streets and 23 areas without electrical service.
She mentioned that these were the main problems that Milton left when he was at his closest point with Mérida, which occurred last Monday around 11:30 at night, and given the success of the Street by Street operation, she added that it will be taking place on a monthly basis, starting next month.
