Preparations for the first anniversary of La Plancha Park include celebrations that will mark an important milestone for this recreational space, which has attracted more than a million visitors in its first year of operation.
Colonel José Arnulfo Escamilla Novelo, administrator of the park, has detailed that the festivities will include a series of artistic events that seek to attract both the local community and tourists.
Among the highlighted events, a Christmas concert is planned by the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, whose most recent show in the park brought together more than 4 thousand people. This concert is part of a series of activities that will reaffirm the park’s commitment to promoting local culture.
Another great attraction that will be part of the festivities is the tourist train, a new project that has generated great expectations. In addition to these projects, the presentation of a national artist who can join the anniversary festivities is being arranged, an event that depends on the agenda managed by the State Government.
The anniversary activities are scheduled to begin in mid-November, with the 19th as the central date of the celebrations.
