The “Cenote Santa Rosa” Tourist Center in Homún announced the tourist route and a new video mapping to raise money for the rescue and restoration of the former convent of the municipality, where you can also enjoy a gastronomic area and handmade balloons and a corridor.

“Homún is in fashion,” emphasized the manager of the tourist center, Monica Cabrera Pacheco, when announcing the video mapping that will be projected in the church of San Buenaventura on Saturday the 19th of this month, where various cultural activities are also expected.

Accompanied by her father Gabriel Cabrera Pech, owner of the “Cenote Santa Rosa”, she reported that the video mapping lasts eight and 10 minutes, and deals with Mayan culture, the architecture of the Church, and the history of the image of San Buenaventura, which, according to the residents, was found on July 15 in a cenote.

The festival will feature a food and craft show, as well as performances by the municipality’s folkloric ballets, among other surprises that the family can enjoy.

Admission will cost residents 30 pesos for adults and 20 for children and visitors 50 pesos for adults and 25 pesos for children.
