A worker died tragically after falling from the elevated viaduct of the port of Progreso, which is 22 meters (70 feet) high.
According to the events, shortly after noon at the intersection of 80th and 91st streets, an unknown employee was casting a pipe in the upper part.
Two versions are circulating: that the section where he was working collapsed and he fell into the void, and the second, that his safety harness broke, which was not properly attached.
