A real tragedy was about to happen on the streets of Merida when a car caught fire with a child and a woman inside.

The events that occurred on the corner of 63rd and 42nd Streets, downtown Merida, were captured by a security camera in a house in the area.

The images show the exact moment when an old model Volkswagen Beetle stopped at the intersection and suddenly the back part of the vehicle starts to catch fire.

Faced with this situation, a motorcyclist who was passing by did not hesitate to help the passengers of the car, so he approached and immediately took out the minor, who was received by another person who moved him away from the vehicle.

Later, he helped the woman to get out of the “Volkswagen” that was burning in flames.

Another man took a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, while other people helped the woman and the minor.

Shortly after, an ambulance arrived at the scene to provide them with medical attention.

On social media, users thanked the motorcyclist for his actions, since if he had not helped, the end of the car’s occupants would have been different.
