New exhibition opens at Merida’s Museum of Light

The exhibition “Pandemic: when the invisible becomes visible” opens. to the public.

To reflect on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and other diseases in the world, the exhibition “Pandemic: when the Invisible Becomes Visible” opened this Tuesday at the Museum of Light, in the Gran Parque de La Plancha, which will be available from October 15 until January 2025.

At the inauguration of the artistic and educational exhibition, the French ambassador to Mexico, Delphine Borione, thanked the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for coordinating efforts to bring this exhibition to the museum, which she said will bring important learning to citizens and promote reflection on self-care for the prevention of diseases that can become a pandemic, as is the case of Covid-19.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, elementary school students and the general public enjoyed this exhibition which includes valuable information about the diseases that have become a pandemic.

The Museum of Light is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It should be noted that admission is free.
