In a swift police operation, on Tuesday, November 12, federal agents raided a warehouse and arrested Fabián Alejandro B.S and Wilberth B., Epitacio (aka) “Titis” head of the drug cartel in Yucatan, with two of his operators Enrique Epitacio E, and Ruth Abigail S.P.
The detainee known as Epitacio was supposedly the leader of a gang that dealt with the distribution of drugs in the state.
The warehouse where the raid was carried out is located next to the Rochavi school, located on the corner of 76th Street with 11-A1 Street, in the Residencial Pensiones neighborhood in Merida.
In the building, the police officers seized 154.1 kilos of marijuana, 970 grams of methamphetamine, 1,640 kilograms of cocaine, 110 boxes of psychotropic pills phentermine, and amfepramone.
They also confiscated 5,997 pesos in cash, five cell phones, four digital scales, a sealing machine, a roll of synthetic bags, two boxes of pure sodium bicarbonate, two packages of paper bags, a package of synthetic bags, a frying pan, and two metal spoons, all for the preparation of drugs.
In addition to the drugs, the federal agents seized a Glock .40 caliber pistol, 9 MM cartridges, and false identity documents.
The confiscated drugs, the false documentation, the firearm, and the cash were placed at the disposal and under the custody of the Federal Public Prosecutor in charge of Cell 2-1 of Merida in the State of Yucatan.
