With a large attendance and a festive atmosphere, the Flor del Mayab 2024 Expo Fair was held in the municipality of Peto.
The event was organized by the Delegation of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Canaco-Servytur) of Peto, this fair seeks to strengthen commerce, culture, and tourism in the region, positioning Peto as a reference within the Mexican southeast.
The opening ceremony was led by Julio Llanes, vice president of Delegations of Canaco-Servytur, who attended on behalf of the national president of the Chamber, Levy Abraham Macari. Accompanied by local authorities, businessmen and citizens.
Llanes highlighted the importance of this event for the region and underlined the commitment of Canaco-Servytur to support initiatives that promote the economic and cultural development of the communities.
During the Flor del Mayab Expo Fair 2024, attendees were able to find a varied selection of local products, including embroidered dresses, Tekit guayaberas, artisanal jewelry, hand-woven hammocks, clothing, and shoes made with local materials, as well as a rich gastronomic offering.
