Due to the incessant howling of several dogs, residents of the Los Almendros subdivision, in Ciudad Caucel, Mérida, were alerted and called the emergency number, suspecting that something abnormal was happening in a house.
Upon the arrival of the State Police agents to the home, located on the corner of 47th Street and 80th Street, they found the body of a man of approximately 40 years of age, who committed suicide inside the house.

Acquaintances of the deceased commented that the man had recently divorced, but they did not perceive signs that he was facing emotional problems and they even used to see him walking his dogs at night.
Elements of the State Attorney General’s Office arrived at the scene to carry out the corresponding investigations to clarify the facts.
For its part, the body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service to carry out the pertinent legal proceedings.
