Within the framework of the guidelines established by Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena to promote tourism throughout Yucatán, from November 22 to 24, Valladolid will set out to conquer the largest market in the country: Mexico City.
With the support of the Government of Yucatán, through the Secretariat for Tourism Development (Sefotur), the aim is to showcase the products, hotels, and services that this destination offers to serve visitors.
For three days, businessmen and authorities will develop an interesting agenda of promotional activities aimed at increasing the influx of tourists to this Magical Town. Among these activities, the business fair that will take place on November 22 on the 51st floor of the Torre Mayor stands out, where Valladolid businessmen will meet with specialized travel agents.
At this business meeting, the destination of Valladolid, Yucatan, will be presented, with its tourist attractions, ideal for those seeking adventure, romance, archaeology, and gastronomy experiences.
Promotional activities in Mexico City will be led by the head of Sefotur, Darío Flota; the mayor of Valladolid, Homero Novelo Burgos; and the presidents of business organizations of this city in the east of the state.
The first day of the agenda, Friday 22, included a press conference with Mexico City media specialized in tourism.
On Saturday 23, a sample of Valladolid will be presented at the Santa Fe shopping center, which will feature the participation of 10 artisans and 20 companies, including hotels, tour operators, and restaurants.
At the shopping center, the entrepreneurs will sell their lodging services directly to the public and will present the gastronomic offer, as well as the artisanal products made by women and men from Valladolid.
The Valladolid exhibition at the Santa Fe shopping center will be open on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
