The National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) of Yucatan held a dialogue with the municipal president Cecilia Patrón to generate better conditions for all workers in the industry.
The president of Canirac, Claudia Gonzáles, was present at the meeting, emphasizing the importance of the restaurant sector in Mérida since it is the support of many families in the city.
At the same time, emphasis was placed on the continuous open dialogue to maintain attention to all the challenges and opportunities that could arise in the future of the sector.
General coordinators Flora Zapata Mendiolea and Carlos Viñas Heredia, of Justice and Human Development, and of Orderly Development and City Management, respectively, attended the event, along with Don Armando Casares Espinosa, Head of Tourism.
