Christmas births in Yucatán: three girls and a boy come into the world

The Government of Yucatán reported on the births registered in the hospitals of the Yucatán Health Secretariat (SSY) during Christmas, highlighting the efforts of medical and support staff in providing quality care to mothers and their babies.

At the General Hospital of Valladolid, located in the east of the state, two births were reported:

At 01:44 a.m., a girl weighing 3,110 kilograms and 50 cm was born, originally from the town of Xocén.

At 8:37 a.m., another girl came into the world weighing 3,325 kilograms and 55 cm. Both mothers and daughters are in excellent health.

In Mérida, the “Dra. Consuelo Vadillo Gutiérrez” recorded the birth of a girl at 02:38 hours, weighing 3,175 kilograms and measuring 52 cm. Mother and daughter are in good condition, thanks to the timely attention of the medical staff.

Finally, at the San Carlos de Tizimín Hospital, a child was born at 7:00 a.m., weighing 2,600 kilograms and measuring 49 cm. Both mother and baby are in optimal health conditions. The government of Yucatán recognized the efforts of the SSY staff, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and administrative and laboratory staff, who guaranteed comprehensive care during these festivities.
