In a new outrageous case of animal cruelty, at least five dogs were found dead and with obvious signs of poisoning, in different parts of Hunucmá.
These disgusting acts recorded last weekend set off alarms among the population.
In the Guadalupe neighborhood, a woman found a lifeless dog next to the entrance of her property, so she called the authorities, and agents of Civil Protection came to remove the corpse. The animal had foam on its snout.
Another dog in similar conditions was found in the San Vicente Oriente neighborhood by City Hall employees.
Outraged citizens have not sat back and are already reviewing videos from cameras in some nearby properties to try to find the person responsible for such a vile act.
In addition, there were reports of other cases in other neighborhoods in the municipal capital.
