The City Council of Mérida held a certification course to professionalize municipal staff in the evaluation of the well-being of dogs, in which more than 30 public servants participated, including qualifying judges, personnel from the Animal Protection Unit (UPA), and the Municipal Center. of Animal Care (CEMAA).

According to the information released, this certification has the endorsement of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) through the CONOCER platform. This initiative aimed to professionalize the work of municipal personnel in charge of protecting animals, guaranteeing quality and well-being standards.
