In the year-to-date, national sales totaled 1.35 million units, reflecting a solid performance in both production and marketing.
The Mexican automotive industry recorded its best performance for that month since records began, with the production of 351,535 light vehicles, an annual growth of 6.7 percent, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
This level of production also boosted the cumulative total from January to November, which reached 3.76 million units manufactured, exceeding 5.6 percent of the figures for the same period in 2023.
The most notable brands in this performance were General Motors, Nissan, Stellantis, and Volkswagen.
On the international level, Mexico exported 289 thousand vehicles in November and accumulated more than 3 million units sent abroad so far this year.
Light trucks, which account for more than 75 percent of national production, continue to lead automotive exports.
On the other hand, the domestic market also showed strength, with 147,971 vehicles sold in November, an increase of 14.3 percent compared to the same month last year.
