Yoselín L., a teenager who disappeared in Mérida after boarding an Uber, was found alive but “not in very good condition.”
The 17-year-old girl was reported missing on Tuesday, December 3, around 4 in the afternoon, although an Amber Alert was not activated after her family lost contact with her when she boarded an online platform transportation unit.
“I am looking for the driver who took this teenager dressed in a sweater and pants. Please contact me […] Please share so I can find the Uber driver. And find out the whereabouts of the young woman,” wrote user Adri Puc Chi on Facebook.
About 10 hours after the complaint on social media, the young woman’s mother reported that the teenager had already appeared, but was “not in good condition”.
User Gabi Loeza announced through social media that her daughter Yoselín had already appeared, but she was not “very well.”
“I thank all the people who helped me share my daughter’s whereabouts. Thank God she has already appeared, not in very good condition but she is with us now,” she indicated in the FB publication on the night of December 3rd.
“Now the authorities are taking charge of the matter,” she informed.
The last time that Yoselín’s whereabouts were known, before finding her location, was when she boarded an Uber car in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood.
