For the third time, an edition of Viva la Disco will be held, the most important forum in the Yucatan Peninsula for the exchange, sale, and enjoyment of vinyl records, an event that will take place this Saturday, December 14, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. the night at the bar Cachafaz de la 50.
For this occasion, the organizers commented that in this edition, more than 17 national and international stores of records, audio, and merchandise related to music and the physical format will participate as exhibitors, in addition to more than 20 deejays, selectors, and turntablists who will present.
In this third edition, an open turntable space called La Disco Neni will be set up, which will be coordinated by Claudette Cutz, one of the founders and co-organizers of Viva la Disco, a member of Sabrosura Sound System and the Morras y Vinilos collective based in Mexico City.
For this reason, it was commented that seven women will present musical speeches based on the records that are part of their family memories, as well as their personal collections and those songs that today have a lot of meaning in their life, a bond of love, culture, and art.
