Following a first meeting between the Mexican consul in Orlando, Florida, Juan Sabines, and the founder of the Valladolid Restaurant Association, Jordy Abraham, the business chamber was invited to participate in the LatAm Trade Show Orlando & Port Tampa Bay 2025.
The event, which will take place from February 11 to 13, 2025 in the North American cities of Orlando and Tampa, is organized by the diplomatic representation of the countries of Mexico, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.
The objective is to showcase the offer of Mexican, Colombian, and Dominican products and destinations in the United States market, which is the largest consumer market in the world.
One of the main promoters of the LaTam Trade Show is precisely Juan Sabines, who for the second time serves as head of the Mexican consulate in Orlando, after an extensive career in public administration, which includes having occupied the governorship of Chiapas from 2016 to 2012.
Entrepreneurs from Valladolid have already confirmed their attendance at the LatAm Trade Show 2025, in which they will participate in the presentation of the book “Valladolid, Gastronomic Capital of Yucatan”, as well as with food and product displays, including Xtabentún.
Regarding the invitation to the event, the founder and former president of the Valladolid restaurant association, Jordy Abraham Martínez, stated: “ARVAY has the vision of taking Valladolid everywhere, both nationally and internationally. These types of activities are a valuable opportunity for this purpose.”
