The Argentine singer Fito Paez played for the first time in the Zócalo of the Mexican capital, where he managed to gather 80 thousand people.

Rodolfo Páez, better known as Fito Páez, is an Argentine musician, composer, pianist, film director, and singer. Member of the so-called rosarian trova, he was nicknamed “The troubadour of Argentine rock” and is considered one of the most important exponents of rock in his country and throughout Latin America.

With the screens lit in red and the silhouette of one of the musicians backlit, Fito appeared on stage to play for the first time in the heart of Mexico City, and he could not start in any other way than with El amor después del amor with which the public received him with an ovation and accompanied him with the words that immortalized the song.

Fito, always being Fito, decided that the outfit for the evening would be red trousers accompanied by a long blazer with a cape of the same color and a yellow high-necked shirt to contrast the outfit for the evening.

“What do you want me to say? Words are superfluous,” said the man from Rosario to his audience as a sign of gratitude before making many people’s hair stand on end with the song “Al lado del Camino”, which got everyone singing along.
