Cold weather expected in Yucatan for the next 48 hours

Over the next 24 hours, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected, with a chance of isolated drizzle. Warm weather during the day and cool to mild at dawn.

The cold air mass associated with cold front No. 24 will remain over the Yucatan peninsula, causing a warm environment during the day and cool to mild at dawn, with minimum temperatures between 11 to 15 °C in the southern cone of Yucatan and the north and center of Campeche.

North-northeast winds of 20 to 30 km/h and gusts greater than 45 km/h will prevail in coastal areas. In addition, isolated drizzle is expected in Yucatan, as well as showers in the states of Campeche and Quintana Roo.

The temperature forecast for the city of Merida is in the range of 21 to 23 °C as maximum and 15 to 17 °C as minimum.
