The municipal president of Cozumel, José Luis Chacón Méndez, has established an important agenda for the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 in which he will promote the natural beauty, history, and culture of this Magical Town.
With innovative tourism promotion strategies, Cozumel will highlight its participation in this prestigious international fair, showing the attractions that make the Magical Town the ideal place to vacation and enjoy a memorable stay.
José Luis Chacón stated that the island of Cozumel is promoted as a destination with history, culture, traditions, and natural beauties to enjoy. “We want people to know this beautiful island, fall in love with it, and come back.”
He explained that the goal is to attract more tourism and for the economic impact to be reflected in people’s tables.
It should be noted that FITUR is the reference event in the tourism sector and the leading fair worldwide for receptive and issuing markets. In 2025, the event hopes to exceed the arrival of 150 thousand professionals between Wednesday and Friday and reach around 100,000 general public attendees on the weekend, adding up to a total of 250 thousand participants.
The event will have 9,500 participating companies, 156 countries, and 884 main exhibitors, who will display their offer in nine pavilions.
