While trying to install a television antenna to get a better signal, Balbino H., 61 years old, was electrocuted when the metal tube touched the high-voltage cables near the roof of his house.
According to the report, the man climbed onto the roof of his house to install the television antenna but inadvertently touched the high-voltage cable with a metal tube, which caused him to be electrocuted.
The tragic event occurred on Tuesday afternoon on a property on 22nd Street between 21st and 29th in the municipality of Bokobá, Yucatán. Balbino had just bought his antenna to have a better signal and decided to climb to the roof and install it himself.
After the shock, the man was left lying on the roof and his family notified the Municipal Police and SSP Yucatán, paramedics arrived who only confirmed that he no longer had vital signs.
The place was secured for the corresponding proceedings by personnel from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Yucatan so that those from the Forensic Medical Service could carry out the removal of the body.
