On the beaches of Telchac Puerto, packages of cocaine washed up on the beach, in front of the Reef Hotel.
The events took place on Sunday, January 26th, and generated a strong movement of the Mexican Army and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
The tourists who were staying at the Reef Hotel went out for a walk on the beach and noticed some blue packages.
The tourists were walking along the beach when they saw the packages, they immediately realized that there was something suspicious about the packages wrapped in duct tape and plastic-type paper, so they notified the corresponding authorities.
Agents of the Mexican Army arrived at the scene and informed personnel from the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
In the end, the FGR proceeded to remove the three packages of cocaine with an approximate weight of three kilos of the drug.
