As part of the celebrations for Valentine’s Day, Mérida will offer a variety of events and activities to enjoy with couples, friends and even families.
These activities will take place throughout the weekend at Gran Parque La Plancha, offering options for all tastes and preferences.
One of the main attractions will be the “Dinoboda”, a fun activity in which couples can get married wearing a dinosaur costume or even be officiated by one of these prehistoric reptiles. This event will take place on February 14, 15 and 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On the other hand, the “Unión por un Día” (Union for one day), will take place as a symbolic ceremony in which you can participate with your sentimental partner or friend. During this activity, fun and laughter will be guaranteed. The ceremonies will be held at the South Pier Lake on February 14, 15, and 16, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
For those looking to find love, this February 14, “The Perfect Encounter” will be held, a blind date that will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is an excellent opportunity to meet someone special and open your heart on this Valentine’s Day.
In addition, there will be a “Singles Party”, an event where you can meet new people and dance to the rhythm of music from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Both activities will take place at the park’s Gastronomic Market.
To complete the entertainment offer, there will also be an Open Air Cinema presentation during the weekend, starting at 6:00 p.m. Films to be screened include “Valentine’s Day,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin” and “Me Before You.”
