Agents of the State Investigative Police (PEI) of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) arrested a couple involved in the death of a minor, which occurred on Tuesday, February 18 in the Cielo Alto subdivision, in the municipality of Kanasín.
The state authorities responded to the Municipal Police report on the death of a child at the home where he lived with his mother Vilma Concepción M. T., 35 years old, and her partner, Liliana Elizabeth H. G., 29.
The investigating agents and prosecutors are working on integrating the folder with the evidence data to request an arrest warrant from a control judge against those responsible for the death of the minor.
In the investigations, evidence is also collected about other possible criminal acts. The child was severely malnourished, the condition of abandonment in which another minor was found in the same home.
