Mexico Open US$7 Million Payouts for PGA Tour Players at VidantaWorld

The 2025 Mexico Open at VidantaWorld finished in dramatic fashion as Brian Campbell outlasted Aldrich Potgeiter to take home his first PGA Tour victory.

Campbell carded a 1-under 70, including a birdie on the 18th to tie Potgieter at 20-under overall. The youngster did not have his best day at VidantaWorld. He signed for a 1-over 71 after going low the first three days of play.

Both men made par on the first playoff hole. Potgieter hit a bomb to start the second extra hole, and all felt lost for Campbell when he hit his tee shot way right. However, a lucky bounce off a tree put him back into play and gave him a chance.

The 31-year-old laid up on his second shot, which allowed him to take a deep breath and hit a textbook approach shot. He hit it slightly over three feet from the hole and sank his birdie putt.
