The driver of an Audi car suffered a heart attack while driving on 20th Street in the Sol Campestre subdivision, at the intersection with Avenida Cámara de Comercio.
According to witnesses, the driver ended up colliding with a Telmex pole and the car was left in the middle of the road; motorists who were nearby came to help the man since they noticed that he was apparently having a heart attack.
The witnesses who helped him called the 911 emergency number and paramedics from the Y33 ambulance of the Public Security Secretariat quickly arrived and gave him first aid, oxygen and he was left waiting to see if it was necessary to transfer him to a hospital or if he would recover at the scene of the events in order to reach an agreement to pay for damages through his insurance.
After the insurance broker arrived, the driver was taken by relatives to a hospital in stable condition to receive medical attention.
