.The activities and events will culminate on February 16 and tomorrow the celebrations begin at 10:30 pm with the traditional vaquería in the basement of the Municipal Palace with the participation of the orchestras of “Miguel Collí”, “Noh Be” and “Juan Torres y su Trombón de Oro”.
Mayor Edwin Bojórquez Ramirez invited not only the families of Kanasín but also those of neighboring municipalities to participate in the numerous activities that have been prepared.
For example, on Saturday, February 8, the participation of the R15 Band and Estampida Musical is expected; while on Saturday, February 15, the Capitanes de la Cumbia and Los Méndez will be performing. Other events have also been organized for this coming Sunday, February 9th, and on the 16th.
Cattle ranch exhibitions have also been organized on various days between February 7th and 16th. The bullfight on February 12th will be in honor of the Virgin of Candelaria and all the money raised will go to the Parish of the Immaculate Conception.
