To strengthen the economy of rural producers and improve the quality of life of the families of Kantunilkín, the fourth edition of the Commercial, Agricultural, Artisanal, and Entrepreneurial Community Fair was held.

The event took place in the dome of the main part of the town, becoming a key space for the promotion of local commerce.

Producers from the community of San Ángel and the municipal capital participated in this edition.

They took advantage of the opportunity to exhibit and sell their products in an environment conducive to fair trade.

Attendees were able to purchase a wide variety of agricultural products at affordable prices.

This benefited families from the popular colonies by allowing them to buy fresh fruits and vegetables directly from producers.

Kantunilkin is located 262 kilometers (177 miles) east of Merida

The fair has attracted a large number of visitors, who enjoyed a diverse and high-quality offering.

In addition, it allowed small producers to strengthen their sales and make themselves known in a broader market.

José Olegario Canul Balam, coordinator of Agriculture, highlighted that this is the fourth edition of the fair, joining other similar events held in communities such as Nuevo X-Can, the municipality of Ignacio Zaragoza, and on the island of Holbox.

Canul Balam explained that these initiatives will continue to be carried out to stimulate the regional economy and prevent the inhabitants of Lázaro Cárdenas from having to travel outside the municipality to acquire the most basic necessities.

The fair has established itself as a key tool for strengthening local commerce and supporting farmers, contributing significantly to the economic and social development of the participating communities.

With each edition, this event reaffirms its positive impact and its commitment to the growth of the region.
