The accused, A.D.L., was found criminally responsible for the crime of attempted aggravated rape, for which he will serve a sentence of three years and eight months in prison.
This ruling occurred after the presentation of evidence by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Yucatan.
The attempted rape took place inside a home located in the La Florida neighborhood, in Merida, where the victim attended a party.
According to the victim’s statement, after drinking alcohol, the suspect tried to rape her, taking advantage of the trust placed in him, as he was her friend and her boss at work.
