After intelligence and cabinet work, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) and the State Attorney General’s Office arrested five people involved in the homicide of Alejandro N, which occurred last Monday in the municipality of Tekit.
Among them, Miguel A. N, 33 years old, is allegedly the main responsible and instigator of the violent events. The other suspects are Vicente Raúl N, 58 years old; Luis Ángel N, 30 years old, José N, 29 years old and José G. C. N, 32 years old.
The arrests follow the assault and murder of citizen María N., 69, allegedly at the hands of Alejandro N., known as “El Wero”, who was later a victim of a lynching.
The five were placed at the disposal of the control judge who issued the arrest warrants. State authorities continue with investigations to clarify responsibilities and guarantee the application of the Law.
