To enable a space where professionals in the wood processing, furniture, and interior design sectors can learn about technological advances and new trends in the industry, the Ampimm 2025 Mini Fair will be held this February 20.
George Junior Soares, one of the organizers of the event, mentioned that the Mexican Association of Suppliers of the Wood and Furniture Industry (Ampimm), holds this fair on a traveling basis in several cities in the country, and the event the day after tomorrow will be the first in 2025 and will be attended by 25 suppliers.
He commented that the event will be held at the Holiday Inn Gran Salón Hotel from 8:30 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon and is aimed at manufacturers of furniture, kitchens, and closets; interior and industrial designers, as well as carpenters and interior architects from the State, as well as from neighboring entities.
Marco Ordoñez Guerrero, president of the National Chamber of the Wood Industry (Canaima) southeast delegation, indicated that the purpose of this event is to make it known because there are professionals in the sector who are not aware of this event, regardless of whether or not they are members of the chamber, which is why its dissemination is important.
“It is very important because it comes from software for production to suppliers of custom and traditional hardware. One of Canaima’s main initiatives is to industrialize and professionalize its members and being able to have access to the supply of specialized machinery or software is wonderful,” he said.
The business leader said that these activities make it possible to bring wood industrialists closer to technology that helps them to design a piece of furniture automatically, to make presentations with renders, how to cost a product with details with the fittings, and then put them into production.
