On Tuesday, February 18, the death of Maestro Stanislav Grubnik, who was a member of the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, was announced.
Just a couple of days ago, through social networks, help was requested from citizens to donate blood for the outstanding instrumentalist, however, his death was reported on Tuesday.
He was born in 1966 in Leningrad, Russia, but has been living in the Yucatan capital for 20 years.
Grubnik was part of various orchestras, including the one in St. Petersburg and the one in Peru. He was currently a member of the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Academic Camerata of Merida.
He was also a professor at the University of the Arts of Yucatan, where he trained dozens of double bass players in Yucatan.
His talent took him on tours to Japan, Croatia, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, England, Germany, France, Holland, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Finland and Greece among other countries.
