The Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) maintains its commitment to providing verified and transparent data, avoiding disseminating unconfirmed news that could cause alarm among the population.

Regarding the publication on networks about an alleged assault by hooded men on a runner on Hacienda Chenkú Avenue, it is reported that, through the C5i video surveillance cameras, the person was observed running on Calle 27. It was confirmed that he suffered an accident.

In addition, no related report was recorded on the 911 emergency line. “We urge citizens to verify the origin of the messages before sharing them and to report any suspicious situation to the emergency numbers. Disseminating unconfirmed data can generate misinformation and unnecessary alarm,” the state police said.

“We thank those who use official channels and communicate facts to the authorities in a responsible manner, thus contributing to the safety of all,” states the SSP.
